Major Accountabilities:
Accounting & Financial
- Supervise and coordinate accounting operations across accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll accounting, and bank reconciliations
- Review and validate complex accounting entries, reconciliations, and judgments
- Support the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Oversee tax compliance activities, ensuring accuracy and timely submission of statutory filings
- Coordinate with external and internal auditors, ensuring required documentation is provided promptly
- Monitor adherence to internal controls across accounting, admin, and purchasing processes
- Identify control gaps, operational risks, and inefficiencies, and recommend corrective actions
- Recommend improvements to accounting workflows, documentation standards, and internal controls
Revenue & Contract
- Review customer contracts, pricing structures, and commercial terms to assess accounting implications
- Ensure accurate revenue recognition in accordance with applicable Thai Financial Reporting Standards (TFRS)
- Monitor contract modifications, revenue adjustments, and accounting treatments related to customer contracts
- Prepare and review supporting schedules and documentation related to revenue for audit and management review
Administrative & Purchasing Oversight
- Oversee administrative and purchasing operations to ensure efficiency, cost control, and policy compliance
- Supervise procurement processes including vendor sourcing, purchase approvals, and contract management
- Review supplier and service contracts to ensure alignment with company policies and budgets
- Monitor administrative and operating expenses and recommend cost optimization initiatives
Planning, Reporting & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Support budgeting, cash flow planning, and financial forecasting
- Review variance analysis reports, investigate significant deviations, and recommend corrective actions
- Act as the departmental representative in cross-functional projects related to finance systems, administrative processes, or policy changes
Leadership & People Development
- Mentor and coach supervisors and senior officers to strengthen technical and leadership capabilities
- Handle escalated operational and people-related issues within the department
- Step in as Acting Head of Accounting & Finance when required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 6-8 years of experience in accounting/finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial controls.
- Proficient in ERP systems and advanced Excel functions.
- Professional certifications (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred.
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing financial data.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making.
- Strong communication and coordination skills for working with internal teams and vendors.
