Job Description
- Lead and manage the accounting team while providing guidance, coaching, and professional development support
- Oversee all finance and accounting operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, tax, monthly closing, and financial reporting
- Develop, maintain, and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and internal control frameworks
- Manage monthly and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
- Oversee general ledger and sub-ledger accounting transactions, including adjustments and reclassification entries
- Review balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Supervise intercompany transactions and reconciliation activities
- Ensure compliance with Thai Accounting Standards, tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements
- Oversee VAT, withholding tax, and other tax filing obligations
- Maintain effective financial controls and governance processes
- Identify and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and strengthen accounting workflows
- Prepare management reports and provide financial analysis on revenue, expenses, profitability, and business performance
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities
- Partner closely with operations and other business functions to improve decision-making and support organizational objectives
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Finance & Accounting Manager Should Have
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of finance and accounting experience, preferably within multinational organizations
- Experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain businesses is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of Thai Accounting Standards and statutory compliance requirements
- In-depth understanding of Thai tax regulations, including VAT, withholding tax, and corporate tax matters
- Proven experience leading and developing finance or accounting teams
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational capabilities
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in financial reporting tools
- Good command of English, both written and verbal
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and accountability
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple deadlines
- Positive attitude with a continuous improvement mindset
