Job Description
- Oversee the full spectrum of accounting and finance activities, ensuring effective financial governance and operational efficiency.
- Monitor financial performance and provide insights to support business planning and decision-making.
- Manage budgeting processes, cash flow forecasting, and cost control initiatives.
- Prepare accurate financial reports and present analysis and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Handle corporate tax matters, including VAT, withholding tax, corporate income tax, and other related obligations.
- Coordinate activities related to investment promotion privileges and regulatory incentives.
- Review month-end account reconciliations and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Collaborate with auditors, government authorities, financial institutions, and other external stakeholders.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting and finance team to achieve business objectives.
- Support special projects and business initiatives assigned by management.
- Promote adherence to company policies, legal requirements, and workplace health, safety, and environmental standards
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Finance & Accounting Manager Should Have
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in accounting and finance management, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of taxation, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP or a comparable ERP system is highly preferred.
- Good command of both spoken and written English.
