The Finance and Accounting Manager in Shamirlens Thailand is responsible for overseeing local financial operations, ensuring compliance with Thai regulations, and supporting the company's global financial standards. The role includes ongoing collaboration with the Global Business Services (GBS) Payments Hub, ensuring effective governance, smooth operational alignment, and high-quality financial insights for local management and HQ.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage all local financial operations, including accounting, statutory reporting, and tax compliance
  • Ensure full compliance with Thai regulations, company policies, and internal control procedures
  • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for local management, HQ, and the Group
  • Lead the transition of all payment processes to the GBS Payments Hub, and act as the local focal point for governance, approvals, and escalations post-migration including monitor GBS performance, ensure SLA adherence, and maintain strong segregation of duties
  • Support financial planning and analysis, including budget, forecast, and monitoring results vs. budget
  • Conduct the company's monthly profitability analysis, including insights by product line and customer segment
  • Oversee cash flow management and support internal and external audits
  • Report irregularities or suspected fraud and maintain ongoing communication with HQ on compliance and risk topics

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; CPA is preferred
  • 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in an international environment
  • Proven knowledge of internal controls and risk management
  • Experience with ERP systems in industrial companies is an advantage
  • Strong analytical, and leadership skills, and professional communication in English
  • High level of personal integrity and ability to work under pressure
