Key Responsibilities
Financial Operations & Transactions Management
- Handle daily financial transactions, including vendor payments, receipts, staff reimbursements, and petty cash, ensuring accuracy and reconciliation.
- Review and process all types of employee claims (e.g., business travel, staff benefit claims, sales-related client entertainment expenses, etc.).
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely settlement.
- Support cash flow monitoring and payment execution via online banking systems.
Accounting, Tax & Compliance
- Ensure accurate bookkeeping in accordance with the Thai Financial Reporting Standards (TFRS) and support monthend and yearend closing activities.
- Prepare and file Withholding Tax, and Corporate Income Tax; issue withholding tax certificates.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and company secretary as needed, on statutory reporting and compliance matters.
Financial Reporting & Budgeting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to support cost control and business planning.
- Prepare budget forecasts for the Thailand team to support financial planning and monitoring.
Administrative & Corporate Support
- Liaise with banks on account matters, documentation updates, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Global HR and Finance teams) to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance.
- Manage office administrative operations, including managing vendor contracts and service agreements.
- Assist in maintaining and updating internal SOPs for finance and administrative processes.
Skills & Experience that WOW US
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in finance, accounting, or related roles, with strong knowledge of transaction processing, reporting standards, and financial operations; experience in a multinational environment is preferred.
- CPA, ACCA, or CAT certification is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Thai Financial Reporting Standards (TFRS) , tax regulations and corporate banking processes in Thailand is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with accounting/ERP systems is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Thai and Chinese is required.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent problem solving and multi-tasking abilities.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and confidentiality when handling sensitive financial data.
