Job Description

About the Role

Wanhua Chemical is a globally leading chemical new materials company, and Wanhau Thailand is its wholly-owned subsidiary. The position we are recruiting for is a comprehensive financial management role. You will be responsible for the overall finance functions of Wanhua Thailand, covering multiple modules including AR, AP, taxation, GL, and others. At the same time, you will work alongside a finance professional from China.

Responsibilities

  • Compliance – Ensure all accounting operations comply with Thai Financial Reporting Standards (TFRS) and applicable local regulations.
  • Audit Coordination – Liaise with external auditors, prepare and submit required documents, and ensure audit reports are issued on schedule.
  • Transfer Pricing – Establish an import price tracking mechanism to maintain reasonable and defensible profit margins.
  • Monthly Closing – Perform monthly closing, including tax, invoice, and inventory reconciliations, and prepare financial statements within deadlines.
  • Accounts Payable – Review supplier invoices and expenditures; approve payment workflows, compute withholding tax accurately, and oversee timely disbursement, posting, and settlement. Also review employee reimbursement claims.
  • Accounts Receivable – Issue tax invoices, receipts, and collection letters in a timely manner; monitor daily customer payments, update records, release credit limits, track overdue accounts, and handle cheque deposits and mailing of billing documents.
  • Taxation – Verify import duties and VAT calculations; file and remit all relevant taxes (VAT, corporate income tax, withholding tax, personal income tax, etc.) within statutory deadlines; manage other tax-related matters.
  • Payroll & Benefits – Administer payroll, social security, provident fund, and employee welfare programs in line with Thai labour laws and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above.

Required Skills

  • Proficient in either English or Chinese for business communication; preference will be given to candidates with Chinese proficiency.
  • Hold a valid CPD (Continuing Professional Development) certificate and be authorized to sign off on financial statements.
  • Skilled in using Microsoft Office and major financial systems; experience with SAP is a strong plus.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing IT projects.

Pay range and compensation package

1. Salary is negotiable and will be determined based on our comprehensive assessment of your overall capabilities. The approximate salary range is 50,000–80,000 Thai Baht per month.

2. The company provides benefits including communication allowance, meal allowance, professional skill allowance, and other perks.

3. The company has a well-established incentive system, including a bonus scheme.
