Key Responsibilities
- Financial Strategy & Planning:Develop long-term financial plans, create budgets, manage forecasts, and advise on growth strategies.
- Financial Reporting & Analysis:Prepare financial statements, analyze data, investigate variances, and present findings to leadership.
- Budgeting & Forecasting:Lead the annual budgeting process and manage ongoing forecasts and cash flow.
- Risk Management:Identify financial risks, manage insurance, and ensure compliance with regulations (GAAP, SEC).
- Team Leadership:Manage, train, and guide the accounting, audit, and finance teams.
- Operational Oversight:Oversee daily financial operations, including payroll, taxes, internal controls, and systems.
- Stakeholder Relations:Manage relationships with banks, investors, and auditors; present financial health to executives and boards.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Strong financial acumen, analyticskills, and business sense.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with financial software and reporting tools.
