Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Financial Strategy & Planning: Develop long-term financial plans, create budgets, manage forecasts, and advise on growth strategies.
Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare financial statements, analyze data, investigate variances, and present findings to leadership.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and manage ongoing forecasts and cash flow.
Risk Management: Identify financial risks, manage insurance, and ensure compliance with regulations (GAAP, SEC).
Team Leadership: Manage, train, and guide the accounting, audit, and finance teams.
Operational Oversight: Oversee daily financial operations, including payroll, taxes, internal controls, and systems.
Stakeholder Relations: Manage relationships with banks, investors, and auditors; present financial health to executives and boards.

Key Skills & Qualifications

Strong financial acumen, analytical skills, and business sense.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency with financial software and reporting tools.
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; relevant certifications (CPA, CMA) often preferred.
