A leading automotive organisation is looking for a Finance Director to oversee both manufacturing and sales operations in Bangkok. This role plays a key part in shaping financial strategy, strengthening cost control, and supporting sustainable business growth across multiple divisions. You will oversee end-to-end finance functions for manufacturing and sales operations, ensuring accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and effective financial controls. The role involves managing manufacturing costing, tax compliance, credit risk related to floor plan financing, and dealer financial performance. You will support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, while acting as a trusted advisor to business leaders and driving improvements in financial processes and systems.
Key responsibilities include:
Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting across manufacturing and sales
Manage manufacturing costing and identify cost optimisation opportunities
Ensure tax planning and compliance for manufacturing operations
Evaluate credit risk related to floor plan financing and dealer management
Provide financial insights to senior management to support decision-making
Drive continuous improvement in financial systems and processes
You have strong finance leadership experience covering both manufacturing and sales environments, with solid knowledge of costing, taxation, and financial controls. You are analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with complex data, while also able to communicate clearly with non-finance stakeholders. Experience with credit evaluation and dealer financing is highly valued.
