About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Finance Manager to lead the financial operations of our organization in Thailand and across our subsidiaries in Singapore, Ho Chi Minh, and Riyadh. This role requires a proactive leader who can provide insightful financial guidance, ensure compliance with local accounting standards, and drive efficiency across financial processes. The Finance Manager will work closely with the CFO to support strategic decision-making and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting and Consolidation
- Oversee the preparation and consolidation of financial statements for multiple mid-size entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Coordinate the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely submission of financial reports to management and parent companies.
Budgeting and Forecasting
- Assist the CFO in preparing budgets and financial forecasts, analysing financial data to identify trends and variances.
- Provide financial analysis and guidance on profitability, revenue, and expenditure to support strategic decision-making.
Audit and Compliance
- Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors, facilitating audits and ensuring all financial documentation is prepared and available for review.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, addressing audit findings and making necessary adjustments.
- Assist the CFO in the development of transfer pricing policies.
Working Capital Management
- Oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions, ensuring efficient management of cash flow and working capital.
- Ensure accurate processing of invoices, payments, and collections, resolving discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.
Team Supervision and Development
- Supervise and mentor a dedicated team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support to enhance professional growth.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and identify training needs to ensure continuous development of the accounting team.
Stakeholder Communication
- Maintain effective communication with management and functional leaders to provide updates on financial status and performance.
- Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to the CFO and other key stakeholders as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) and financial consolidation processes.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (Monday), MS 360, QuickBooks, and other financial software.
- Excellent English and Thai communication skills.
- Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and organisational abilities.
- Experience coordinating with auditors and understanding of audit processes.
