Finance Manager

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse financial reports, forecasts, and statements to inform management decisions.
• Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's goals.
• Monitor cash flow and optimise the company's financial resources.
• Establish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
• Oversee daily operations of the finance department.
• Conduct financial analysis to evaluate risks and opportunities.
• Manage the preparation of all financial reports and maintain compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Provide insights into business performance and industry trends.
• Represent the company in dealings with banks, auditors, tax authorities, and government agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree of higher in Finance, Accounting; or professional qualification (e.g. CFA/CPA/CIMA) is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in financial management and accounting, ideally in the private equity sector.
• Proven experience as a Financial Manager or in a similar role within the finance sector, ideally in the private equity sector.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modelling and forecasting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of presenting complex financial information clearly.
• Proven leadership skills and the ability to foster a team-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements in the finance industry.
• Extensive experience in financial forecasting and financial risk management.
• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
