Role: Finance Manager (FMCG Background)

Job Purpose
- Finance Manager plays an essential role in the finance management of the company. He/she reports to country management and stakeholders and provides advice on how the company and future business decisions might be impacted.
Job Scope
- Monitoring the day-to-day financial operations within the company.
- Managing treasury, cash flow and working capital of the company.
- Ensuring the accuracy of the statutory financials and reviewing and analyzing the company's periodic performances.
- Analyzing price strategies of the channels and giving comments about the improvements.
- Monitoring NNS targets of the channels and reviewing the results periodically with management.
- Developing tax planning for the company and reviewing tax calculations.
- Reviewing, monitoring, and managing the annual budget/actual and presenting variances to the management.
- Reviewing, monitoring, and managing all regular financial package of Headquarter Global Finance team.
- Creating necessary related SAP improvements, ensuring all accounting procedures implementation, and managing the process accordingly.
- Establishing and maintaining financial policies and procedures for the company.
- Representing the company through banks, tax offices, external & internal auditors, and all other official institutions.
- Minimizing company risk & receivables, providing accurate aging reports, maintaining collection strategy and credit risk management with distributors and key accounts.
- Supporting GM, Region Finance and HQ Finance for all other necessary matters.
- Building up and training Finance Team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in economics, Finance & Accounting or a closely related field.
- At least 10 years working experience in accounting field and experience in managing the team
- Have an analytical mind, commercial and business awareness.
- Fluent in English.
- SAP experience is highly preferred
- Audit experience in Big 4 companies is highly preferred
- CPD license is a must
- A keen eye for detail and a desire to probe further into data.
- Experience in MNCs or startup company with the same sales channel of FMCG products is highly preferred
- Good analytical skills, ability to prepare management reports (budget versus actual versus prior year and analysis).
- Knowledge of regulatory subjects including business income tax, VAT, payroll taxes, and other statutory reporting requirements.
- Experience in closing the books, including preparing monthly financial statements, Income Statements, and Balance Sheets.
- PC Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
