PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
At Nasty Cookies, we are looking for a commercially minded and hands-on Finance Manager to support our continued growth and expansion.
This role will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial operations, management reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, and compliance. The Finance Manager will partner closely with the leadership team to provide financial insights, improve business performance, and ensure strong financial governance as the business scales.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process across all business functions
- Monitor financial performance and provide timely analysis of key business drivers
- Develop financial models and business cases to support strategic initiatives and expansion plans
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability, productivity, and cost efficiency
- Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, and performance dashboards
- Analyze revenue, margins, operating expenses, and labour costs to support decision-making
- Present financial insights and recommendations to senior management
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial reporting
- Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital requirements
- Monitor cash positions and ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs
- Oversee banking relationships and payment processes
- Support capital expenditure planning and investment decisions
- Ensure compliance with Singapore financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax requirements
- Manage GST filings, statutory reporting, and audit processes
- Develop and strengthen internal controls, policies, and financial procedures
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities
- Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, HR, and Commercial teams to drive business performance
- Provide financial guidance on pricing, promotions, labour costs, and expansion opportunities
- Support contract reviews and commercial negotiations from a financial perspective
- Drive data-driven decision-making across the business
- Lead and develop the finance function to support business growth
- Review and improve financial systems, processes, and reporting capabilities
- Implement automation and process efficiencies where appropriate
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and financial discipline
QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline
- CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred
EXPERIENCE
- At least 8-10 years of progressive finance experience, including management reporting and financial planning
- Prior experience in F&B industry is a must
- Experience supporting a growing SME or entrepreneurial business environment is advantageous
SKILLS
- Strong financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting capabilities
- Sound knowledge of Singapore accounting standards, GST, and statutory requirements
- Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and commercial acumen
- High attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in accounting systems, ERP platforms, and Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication and presentation skills
