Finance Manager will be responsible for the roles and possess the following qualifications.
Job Summary
- Oversee the hotel's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and profit optimization.
- Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and other management reports.
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls over revenue, expenses, assets, inventory, payroll, credit management, and cash handling procedures.
- Manage all accounting functions, including general ledger, journal vouchers, accounts payable, tax compliance, and monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Ensure payroll and payroll tax processing are completed accurately, timely, and in accordance with approval procedures.
- Safeguard hotel assets and ensure proper documentation and control of contracts, leases, and fixed assets, including accounting, disposal, and reporting.
- Participate in the preparation of the annual business plan and provide financial guidance to operational departments.
- Ensure compliance with company Finance and Accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead, supervise, and develop the finance team to ensure operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
- Represent the Assistant Director of Finance or Director of Finance in their absence.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
To be successful in this role, you will need to havethis following qualifications;
- Accounting Degree /orAccounting Professional Certs eg.ACCA, CIMA etc.
- 3-5 years prior managerial level experience in the Hotel Financial & Accounting area in an international brand hotel accounting team would be an advantage.
- Accounting managerial working experience in Hotels will have an added advantage.
- Must have strong experience with Microsoft Excel, Access and Word.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Good interpersonal, supervisory and leadership skills.
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- This position is restricted to individuals with the right to work in Thailand.
