The role
The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial operations in Thailand, including financial planning, reporting, compliance, and strategic financial management. This role will work closely with leadership to support business growth, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive financial efficiency.
Your Responsibilities
- Financial Strategy and Planning
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's business objectives.
- Lead the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and capital planning initiatives.
- Monitor financial performance and identify potential risks while ensuring sustainable financial growth.
- Accounting and Financial Reporting
- Oversee all accounting activities to ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations and standards.
- Manage the preparation and review of key financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reporting.
- Cash Flow and Cost Management
- Manage cash flow planning, fund allocation, and financial operations to optimize the use of company resources.
- Conduct cost analysis and monitor financial performance to identify opportunities for cost optimization and operational efficiency.
- Support initiatives aimed at improving financial efficiency and cost control.
- Financial Analysis and Business Support
- Prepare periodic financial analysis reports to support management decision-making.
- Provide insights on profitability, financial projections, and investment feasibility.
- Support strategic planning through data-driven financial recommendations.
- Team Leadership and Compliance Management
- Lead and supervise the finance team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations, company policies, and internal governance standards.
- Internal Controls and Process Improvement
- Establish and strengthen internal control frameworks to mitigate financial risks.
- Standardize financial procedures, including reimbursement, payment processing, and approval workflows.
- Continuously review and improve financial processes to enhance efficiency and transparency.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Financial Management, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or a recognized Thai accounting qualification is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Thai accounting standards, tax regulations, and foreign exchange policies.
- Proven experience handling local tax filings in Thailand, including corporate income tax, VAT, and other statutory obligations.
- Strong analytical and financial management skills.
- Fluent in Chinese for internal communication.
- Proficient in English (spoken and written) for cross-border collaboration and reporting
