Reporting to the Finance Director, you will
- Responsible for the full finance function and maintenance of the full sets of accounts for the Singapore companies assigned
- Provide effective management, supervision and approvals, ensuring financial and tax accounting, financial services, closing and reporting activities are performed in an accurate, timely, and compliant manner.
- Prepare and present periodic financial statements, budgets and financial reports to the management team and key stakeholders
- Review of the related companies accounts, reporting, intercompany transactions and payments
- Prepare regular cash flow projections, manage working capital, funding and treasury matters to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs
- Prepare regular financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and business planning and provide recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations and strengthen internal controls.
- Responsible for preparation of the annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
- Liaise with the Tax Agent on the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Responsible for the annual financial audit of the companies assigned and ensure that all statutory requirements are timely met
- Responsible for the payroll and incentive functions of the company, including computing or checking of internal and contract staff payroll and incentives, all CPF and IR8A related matters and submissions
- Be the liaison with auditors, tax agents, bankers and corporate secretarial agent
- Ad-hoc duties/projects as assigned from time to time
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy with Professional Accreditation (CA/CPA)
- Min 8 years of experience, with a good mix of commercial accounting, audit experience from CPA firms and at least 2 years in a manager role
