Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the finance function for a Thailand industrial manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for a finance professional with strong expertise in manufacturing accounting, BOI compliance, taxation, cost control, and financial reporting within a multinational environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all accounting operations, including month-end and year-end closing, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and statutory compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with Thai Financial Reporting Standards (TFRS), IFRS/Group accounting policies, and BOI financial regulations.
  • Oversee tax compliance, including VAT, withholding tax, corporate income tax, payroll tax, social security, transfer pricing, customs, and import/export regulations.
  • Manage BOI-related financial reporting, post-investment compliance, tax incentive administration, and liaison with relevant government authorities.
  • Develop and maintain cost accounting systems, monitor manufacturing costs, analyze margins, and support budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Manage cash flow, foreign exchange transactions, and banking activities while ensuring compliance with Bank of Thailand regulations.
  • Strengthen internal controls, coordinate internal and external audits, and ensure regulatory compliance across finance operations.
  • Support ERP implementation and process improvements to enhance financial reporting and operational efficiency.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the local finance team while working closely with regional and global stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • CPD certification is required; Thai CPA or equivalent is an advantage.
  • Minimum 8 years of finance experience, including at least 3 years in a Finance Manager role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Thai accounting standards, tax regulations, transfer pricing, customs, and BOI requirements.
  • Hands-on experience managing finance and compliance for BOI-promoted companies.
  • Experience working within multinational or Chinese-invested manufacturing companies is preferred.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (Kingdee or similar) is an advantage.
  • Strong English communication skills are required; Chinese language ability is a plus.
