Overview
The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing treasury operations, liquidity management, financial analysis, and strategic investment planning to support Somboon Advance Technology's operational and long-term business goals. This role requires strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with financial institutions.
Responsibilities
1. Cash Flow & Liquidity Management
- Develop and maintain comprehensive cash flow forecasts to ensure sufficient liquidity for operations and strategic initiatives.
- Monitor daily cash positions, taking necessary actions to optimize cash balances and ensure efficient fund utilization.
- Prepare monthly Cash-in/Cash-out reports, rolling forecasts, and the annual cash budget.
- Manage cash reserves generated from operations to maximize returns while maintaining appropriate risk levels.
2. Treasury Operations
- Oversee company payment processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal controls.
- Manage foreign exchange (FX) transactions, including the execution and monitoring of FX forward contracts to mitigate currency risk.
- Establish and execute hedging strategies aligned with the company's risk management policies.
- Develop and implement investment strategies for excess cash to achieve optimal returns.
3. Banking & Financial Institution Coordination
- Coordinate with banks to establish and maintain credit facilities, ensuring sufficient funding availability.
- Build and maintain strong banking relationships to support ongoing and future business activities.
4. Financial Planning & Analysis
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to support strategic decisionmaking, operational efficiency, and long-term planning.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations on cash management, working capital optimization, and investment strategies.
- Prepare and present regular reports on cash flow, liquidity status, and treasury activities to senior management.
5. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with various departments to provide financial support and promote informed decision-making.
- Assist in project evaluations, capital expenditure reviews, and resource allocation to enhance business performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of Experience in Treasury Management, Cash flow forecasting, or a related financial role of Automotive industry is a plus.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, cash flow forecasting, and treasury management systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Good command in English communication
