Duties and Responsibilities
COGS, Cost Performance and Productivity Management
- Lead manufacturing cost analysis and performance reporting for the HSOT.
- Monitor and analyze key COGS drivers including material usage, labour efficiency and overhead costs to ensure cost competitiveness and operational efficiency.
- Partner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Engineering teams to identify root causes of cost variances and support implementation of corrective actions.
- Provide meaningful insights and recommendations to improve productivity, resource utilization and overall manufacturing performance.
FP&A and Financial Decision Support
- Lead manufacturing-related inputs to budget, forecast and long-range planning processes.
- Support preparation and review of COGS, operational spending, inventory and capital expenditure forecasts.
- Perform variance analysis against budget, forecast and prior periods, highlighting key risks, opportunities and business drivers.
- Partner with operational stakeholders by providing financial visibility across manufacturing activities.
Inventory, Working Capital and Asset Management
- Monitor inventory performance, inventory aging, slow-moving inventory and inventory provisions.
- Provide financial support for inventory optimization and working capital improvement initiatives.
- Monitor fixed asset utilization including CIP
- Support financial evaluation of capital expenditure proposals and monitor expenditure against approved budgets and expected business benefits
Operations Finance Business Partnering
- Serve as a key finance partner to Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality and other operational functions.
- Support evaluation of operational improvement projects, automation initiatives and manufacturing investments.
Others
- Support and later lead finance workstreams in ERP and process transformation initiative
- Provide financial support to management for decision-making purposes.
- Resource efficiency analysis – headcount and machine capacity
- Improve data quality and automation in operations finance reporting
Experience
- 8-10 years of similar job experience, with exposure to manufacturing finance, cost accounting, FP&A and business partnering in a multinational manufacturing environment
Skills/Accreditations
- Strong manufacturing finance, cost accounting and FP&A knowledge.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and scenario-modelling capability.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across Finance, Operations and regional/global teams.
- Strong understanding of internal controls, CapEx governance, inventory controls and ERP-enabled finance processes.
- Excellent communication skills, with native Thai and business-level English.
- System literacy in SAP or other ERP systems, Microsoft Office and financial reporting tools.
- Power BI or other data visualization / automation experience would be advantageous.
Academic Qualifications
- University degree (Accounting or Finance is preferred)
