Role Summary:

We are looking for a Finance Operations Specialist to support day-to-day financial operations, with a strong focus on Accounts Payable, Cash Flow monitoring, and Budget tracking. The role works closely with finance leadership to ensure accurate and timely financial information that supports business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable

• Manage vendor payments and payment schedules
• Maintain AP aging and ensure adherence to payment terms
• Coordinate approvals and maintain accurate records
• Monitor upcoming cash requirements related to payables

Cash Flow Monitoring

• Track daily cash positions and bank balances
• Prepare and maintain a rolling 13-week cash flow forecast
• Consolidate inputs from Accounts Receivable and payroll
• Highlight variances, risks, and key assumptions in cash projections

Budget & Forecast Support

• Track actual results against budget
• Support forecast updates and scenario adjustments
• Prepare variance analysis for finance leadership review

Reporting & Collaboration

• Prepare weekly cash and finance summaries
• Support finance leadership with reliable operational data
• Work closely with AR and external accounting partners as needed

Qualifications:

• 37 years experience in finance operations, AP, or cash management
• Strong understanding of payment processes and cash flow fundamentals
• Advanced Excel or spreadsheet skills
• High attention to detail and strong sense of ownership
• Experience in SME or fast-growing environments
