Full Set of accounts: Manage and maintain the full set of accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Daily finance operations:
Manage day-to-day accounting operation, including but not limited to accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
Responsible for accounting task such as payment, cashflow report, general ledger, monthly journals, revenue posting, and tax filing.
Maintain accurate general ledger entries and reconcile bank statements on a regular basis.
Maintain accounting supporting documents, i.e. payment vouchers, bills, invoices, tax invoices, petty cash report, receipt and others supporting documents in order.
Preparing and submission of documents for WHT, VAT, SSO and tax.
Financial statements and audit: Prepare Monthly Management account, including balance sheet, income statements, debtor aging and creditor aging accounting closing, coordinate annual audits, and liaise with auditors to ensure compliance and accurate financial reporting.
Finance support for operations: Collaborate with the operations colleagues to provide financial support, guidance, and insights to drive business decisions.
Accounting oversight: Work closely with the Financial Controller to maintain accounting oversight, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
To perform special/ad-hoc duties assigned by superior from time to time.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field. A professional qualification (e.g., CPA or CPD) is a plus.
At least 7 years of experience in accounting, and finance operations.
Knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and efficiently.
Comfortable to work in an environment where work processes are evolving and not yet fully established.
