Key responsibilities include:
Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with hotel accounting standards, brand policies, and statutory requirements
- Review balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies
- Support year-end closing, audits, and statutory reporting
Oversee and review Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Fixed Assets
- Monitor daily revenue postings, night audit reports, and income audit accuracy
- Support cash flow management, bank reconciliations, and treasury controls
- Ensure proper controls over cash handling, petty cash, and banking procedures
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and rolling projections
- Monitor departmental costs and highlight cost control opportunities
- Support purchasing and inventory controls in line with hotel policies
Ensure adherence to internal controls, SOPs, and segregation of duties

All operations will be conducted ethically, transparently, and in compliance with local laws and company policies. I will ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, hosts, and assets while maintaining positive relationships with local communities and stakeholders.
What We Need From You
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent qualification) in an Accounting and Finance related field.
- Have a minimum of 3-4 years experience working within a finance leadership role within a hotel environment.
- Have strong people skills and demonstrated performance leading a successful team.
- Also need strong Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to think strategically.
- Have a goal-driven individual with high attention to detail, have the ability to think critically and make effective strategic business decisions.
- A proven track record of adhering to budgets.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
