Job Description

We're seeking a Finance professional who enjoys solving complex manufacturing challenges for our client.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of the Financial & Costing function within a leading manufacturing organization, partnering closely with Plant and Business leaders to drive cost transparency, profitability, and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee costing and financial controlling activities for the manufacturing operation, ensuring accurate and reliable cost information.
  • Develop and maintain costing methodologies, standard costs, product costing, and cost variance analysis in line with accounting principles and business requirements.
  • Analyze manufacturing costs and profitability, identify key cost drivers, and provide actionable recommendations to management.
  • Initiate and implement cost improvement, process enhancement, and financial control initiatives to improve cost transparency and business performance.
  • Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Finance teams to ensure accurate costing and effective cost management.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting related to manufacturing costs and financial performance.
  • Ensure appropriate internal controls, accounting principles, and costing practices are applied across the business.
  • Act as a key Finance partner to management, challenging assumptions and providing fact-based financial insights for decision-making.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in Cost Accounting, Controlling, Manufacturing Finance, FP&A, or related functions.
  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, standard costing, product costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
  • Strong manufacturing experience with the ability to understand the connection between operations, costs, and profitability.
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate, build, and improve processes, rather than simply maintain existing practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is preferred.
  • Good command of English
