Job Description

1) FCC (Transaction Monitoring, Fraud Management)

Responsibilities:

  • Investigate, research and analyze financial transactions and customer data across all lines of business for possible suspicious activities, money laundering, and/or violations of AML/CFT regulations.
  • Prepare Suspicious Transaction Report in both Thai and English.
  • Check AML threshold reporting received from related units and submit to AMLO within determined period.
  • Provide oversight on the fraud management of the Bank and advise frontline units to respond to fraud reporting initiated by customers or peer banks.
  • Monitor financial transactions in the Bank's fraud monitoring systems.
  • Attend seminars and meetings organized by BOT / AMLO / TBA /AIB in relation to fraud management as required and communicate with all relevant parties.
  • Handling for fraud protection, fraud detection, fraud response, and collaboration between financial service providers and other related organizations.
  • Perform AML screening and investigate on screening alerts.
  • Liaise with Head Office in Beijing and BOCHK on any project initiatives related to financial crime compliance functions.
  • Take up ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree, Major in Law, Business Administration, Economics or any related fields.
  • At least 5 years in compliance in banking industry
  • Good knowledge in Compliance and Financial Crime Compliance.
  • Good analytical skills, ability to analyse financial statements
  • Can-do attitude, good communication skills and works well under pressure.
  • Proficiency in English, both of reading and writing

2) FCC (AML Compliance Review)

Responsibilities:

  • Support and implement a best practices compliance testing program and associated methodologies for its review and effective challenge of the first and second lines of defense program for the Bank.
  • Perform Compliance Assurance Review on AML (e.g. Transaction Monitoring, Payment Screening, KYC etc.), ABAC, Anti-Fraud and other assigned special / ad-hoc reviews.
  • Identify potential or actual regulatory risks arising from the results of compliance review and proposing recommendations to the relevant stakeholders to mitigate the identified risks.
  • Compile compliance review reports to highlight major regulatory compliance issues and risk implications.
  • Implement control and provide recommendations, establish remediation actions and monitor remediation process.
  • Provide consultation/proper solution to Business Units during compliance review on the best practice of AML/CFT compliance.
  • Prepare regular and ad hoc reports, metrics.
  • Perform the advisory team to summarize AML Laws & Regulations and circulate to relevant Business Units.
  • Coordinate regulatory on-site and off-site examinations conducted by the regulators.
  • Review and prepare the files and reports to be submitted to regulators in time and with accuracy.
  • Follow up management actions / rectification actions to resolve findings identified in compliance reviews and, where required, examinations undertaken by the regulators.
  • Update compliance review plan to be accordance with the updated related policies, programs and control procedures in accordance with regulatory rules and requirements.
  • Organize, coordinate, review and assess IRA & PRA as per BOCL and BOCHK requirements.
  • Data Management and Data Analysis on AML/CFT related.
  • Prepare data, other significant material related to AML/CFT matters to RMICC, ROC, EXCOM Meeting.
  • Perform RACA & KCC and work with BOCHK on AML/CFT related.
  • Implement and Control BOCT Staffs to comply and complete mandatory training on AML/CFT related.
  • Support other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree, Major in Law, Business Administration, Economics or any related fields.
  • At least 5 years in AML/KYC/CDD in banking industry
  • Good knowledge in Compliance and Financial Crime Compliance.
  • Good analytical skills, ability to analyze financial statements
  • Can-do attitude, good communication skills and works well under pressure.
  • Proficiency in English, both of reading and writing.
  • Chinese on both reading and writing is Preferable.
