Responsibility:
- Manage and collaborate with third-party accounting firms to ensure tax filings, accounting records, and annual tax-related financial compliance are completed accurately and on time.
- Coordinate with auditors and government tax authorities for audits and tax inspections, ensuring full compliance with local tax regulations.
- Work with HQ to analyze financial performance and operate financial systems, with a focus on tax data accuracy, tax reporting, and supporting automation improvements.
- Establish and implement tax-focused financial process standards, and promote tax, finance, legal, and audit compliance to ensure proper tax risk control.
- Review tax-related terms in contracts, project budgets, expense reimbursements, and corporate payment processes, ensuring proper VAT, WHT, CIT, and stamp duty treatment.
- Provide tax and financial support throughout the entire project life cycle, including tax impact analysis, cost control, risk tracking, and promoting project profitability.
- Manage local tax compliance, including CIT filings and monthly tax reports (PND3, PND53, PND54, PP30, PND1/PND1k), and provide tax analysis, advisory, and optimization suggestions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
- At least 5 years of experience in tax, accounting, or finance, with strong tax compliance experience.
- Strong knowledge of local tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Familiar with the differences between TFRS and IFRS.
- Experience working with 3rd accounting firms (preferably Big Four) or in multinational/Chinese companies.
- CPD is a must, CPA/ CTA/ ACCA preferred.
- Thai language and English proficiency is required.
