Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Supervise and ensure fabric splicing is performed accurately according to fabric type and production processes, including pre- and post-chemical treatment and fabric finishing.
  • Manage and oversee the classification of fabrics into categories based on color types and processing methods to facilitate workflow in each department.
  • Monitor and control inspection processes for fabric washing and preparation, including bleaching and caustic soda treatment, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and related production processes.
  • Supervise the chemical treatment department, including the preparation of finishing chemicals, PAD starch, sizing starch, DDP trial furnace starch, fabric dyeing agents, and experimental processes to meet required standards.
  • Oversee the application of chemicals, drying, and gas-curing processes of fabric before and after dyeing and printing with the Stenter machine.
  • Attend production planning meetings and monitor production progress according to the Master Plan, including preparing production schedules and tracking job status to ensure quality output and on-time delivery that meets customer requirements.
  • Supervise, evaluate, and develop subordinates to enhance their knowledge and skills, ensuring all tasks are performed in compliance with company regulations.
  • Promote, support, and provide recommendations related to the implementation of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 18001 systems, and 5S activities in alignment with company policy.
  • Comply with the company&aposs occupational health and safety policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or higher in Chemistry, Textiles, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in related industries.
  • Knowledge of textile chemistry.
  • Expertise in Finishing processes, washing, and chemical treatment of fabrics.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of quality standards in textile production.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills with both internal and external parties.
  • Leadership skills with decisiveness, the ability to work under pressure, and effective problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficient in computer applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SAP.
