Key Responsibilities
Audit Execution
- Perform detailed food safety and quality system audits
- Conduct on-site inspections of food production facilities
- Assess compliance with international food standards (GFSI, ISO 22000, HACCP)
- Evaluate food safety management systems and processes
- Prepare detailed, accurate, and objective audit reports
Technical Assessment
- Verify implementation of food safety protocols
- Identify potential risks and non-conformities
- Recommend corrective actions and improvement strategies
- Assess documentation and record-keeping practices
- Evaluate supplier and vendor food safety compliance
Certification Process
- Support client certification journey
- Provide expert guidance on food safety standards
- Assist in developing corrective action plans
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of food safety regulations
Qualifications
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Nutrition, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in food safety auditing
- Lead Auditor certification (IRCA/FSSC 22000)
- Comprehensive understanding of food safety standards
Technical Competencies
- Detailed knowledge of:
- GFSI benchmarked standards
