About BDO in Thailand

A role with our Advisory team will allow the right individual to be part of a fast growing and dynamic team helping BDO clients successfully navigate the Thailand M&A landscape. From buy side to sell side to capital raises, our team plays an up-front hands on role throughout the transaction cycle, ensuring that our mix of local and international clients have all the right information they need in order to make the key decisions. Our clients range from local and internationals covering a variety of industries.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support forensic investigations involving fraud, misconduct, corruption, financial irregularities, and regulatory matters.
  • Perform forensic accounting analysis, financial reviews, and fact-finding procedures to identify risks and quantify losses.
  • Conduct fraud risk assessments and advise clients on strengthening internal controls, governance, and compliance frameworks.
  • Analyze financial and operational data using forensic and data analytics techniques.
  • Prepare investigation reports, present findings, and provide practical recommendations to clients.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and client relationships to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Support business development activities, including proposals and client presentations.
  • Coach and supervise junior team members, providing guidance and performance feedback.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
  • 4–7 years of relevant experience for Assistant Manager/Manager with at least 2 years of forensic experience.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, CFE, CIA, ACCA, CAMS, or equivalent are an advantage.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills in both Thai and English.
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and work effectively with clients and stakeholders.
