Role Overview
This is a founding sales leader for Omnichat's new market.
You will be the first on-the-ground hire, responsible for building the Thailand market from zero to initial traction, with close support from the SEA regional team.
This role is remote-based in the initial phase, requiring a high level of self-discipline, ownership, and comfort operating independently.
The role focuses on enterprise and mid-market SaaS sales, market validation, and establishing Omnichat's presence in Thailand through direct customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first sales lead in Thailand, owning early-stage market development and customer acquisition.
- Build and manage a healthy pipeline of enterprise and mid-market opportunities, from prospecting to deal closure.
- Conduct in-depth research on Thai market dynamics, customer pain points, and competitive landscape to refine sales approaches.
- Schedule and deliver product demos and solution presentations to senior decision-makers.
- Drive early customer conversations, pilots, and reference accounts to validate productmarket fit.
- Collaborate closely with regional Sales, Marketing, and Business Development teams to localize go-to-market messaging and campaigns.
- Maintain clear documentation and reporting on pipeline progress, customer feedback, and market insights.
- Represent Omnichat at industry events, client meetings, and partner discussions when required.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise or mid-market B2B sales, preferably in SaaS or Marketing Technology.
- Proven experience working in ambiguous or early-stage environments (e.g. new market entry, new product line, or zero-to-one initiatives).
- Strong ability to work independently in a remote setup with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable being highly hands-on, including prospecting, pitching, follow-ups, and deal execution.
- Fluent in Thai and English; additional Chinese/Mandarin capability is a strong advantage
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong self-organization, time management, and prioritization skills.
- Willingness to travel locally within SEA region as needed for client meetings and events.
