Responsible for promoting and selling Takasago's products and services, acting as the main liaison between the company and its customers.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers Marketing, R&D, Purchasing, and Management teams.
Design and implement sales strategies that add value to customers brands by offering new ideas and innovative solutions.
Develop and manage pricing strategies, ensuring successful negotiations that meet or exceed standard gross profit levels.
Collaborate closely with Regional and Global teams to align sales strategies for MNA, Japanese and local account directions.
Coordinate with internal departments and distributors to ensure efficient project handling, order processing, and timely deliveries to customers.
Prepare and update sales forecasts and annual sales budgets.
Achieve assigned sales targets and new business development goals.
Protect existing businesses while proactively identifying and developing new customers and business opportunities.
Conduct regular customer visits (Marketing, R&D, Purchasing, and Management) to strengthen relationships and gather insights.
Responsible for commercial part of whole sales numbers along with monthly sales reports, providing updates on performance, project progress, and key account developments.
Identify and develop potential new customers into key accounts.
Collect and analyze market and customer information to support the formulation of strategies and action plans for business growth.
Report and document all sales activities to the Head of Fragrance Division accurately and on time.
Ensure customer satisfaction through quality service and proactive communication.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic Science, or a related scientific field.
Minimum 57 years of experience in B2B sales or key account management, preferably within the fragrance or consumer goods industry. Experience managing regional or multinational accounts is an advantage.
Strong project coordination skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across Marketing, R&D, and Supply Chain teams.
Fluent in English. Proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
Solid understanding of fragrance market dynamics, customer needs, and industry trends.
In-depth knowledge of fragrance products, applications, and consumer product categories, including personal care, home care, and fabric care.
Good understanding of product development processes, regulatory requirements, and fragrance formulation.
Familiarity with pricing strategies, gross profit management, and sales forecasting.
Proficient in CRM systems, project tracking tools, and business analytics.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with a strategic, customer-focused mindset
Strong analytical and organizational skills, self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities independently
