We are looking for someone with a passion for digital marketing and a desire to optimise campaigns for the best results, so a keen eye for detail is essential. Our freelance projects can be worked around other commitments as long as you meet the deadlines.

Role Overview:

As a freelance multilingual Search Marketing Specialist, you will be involved in a variety of multilingual search marketing projects, applying your language expertise to drive effective digital campaigns.

Preferred skillsets

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

• Keyword research and analysis
• On-page and off-page SEO
• Content optimization (including local language adaptation)
• Technical SEO (site health, indexing, speed optimization)
• Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, DragonMetrics, Ahrefs, Google Search Console)
• Local/regional search engine understanding (e.g., Baidu for China, Naver for Korea, Yahoo for Japan)

Pay-Per-Click (PPC) Advertising

• Hands-on experience with Google Ads, Bing Ads, and local platforms (e.g., Baidu Ads for China, Naver/LINE Ads for Korea/Japan)
• Campaign setup, management, and optimization
• Budget planning and reporting
• A/B testing and landing page optimization

Social Media Marketing

• Experience with global (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) and regional platforms (WeChat and Weibo for China, LINE for Japan/Taiwan, KakaoTalk for Korea)
• Content planning and execution
• Social media analytics
• Paid social campaign management
