FTP & Product Specialist
Purpose
To manage and enhance the Fund Transfer Pricing (FTP) framework and analyze banking product characteristics to ensure accurate internal cost and benefit allocation. The role supports effective product pricing, profitability analysis, and balance sheet management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the Fund Transfer Pricing (FTP) framework to ensure consistency, transparency, and alignment with ALM and business strategies.
- Analyze deposit and loan product structures, including repricing behavior, maturity profiles, and embedded options.
- Assess interest rate transmission mechanisms and their impact on product margins and balance sheet performance.
- Work closely with Business Units, Treasury, Finance, and Risk to support product pricing decisions and performance evaluation.
- Provide FTP-related analysis for new product launches, product revisions, and promotional campaigns.
- Monitor product profitability and identify drivers of margin changes across portfolios.
- Prepare FTP reports and management presentations for ALCO and senior management.
- Support enhancements to FTP methodologies, assumptions, and governance in line with best practices and regulatory expectations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields.
- 37 years of experience in Fund Transfer Pricing (FTP), Banking Product Management, ALM, or Performance Management.
- Solid understanding of deposit and loan product structures and interest rate transmission mechanisms.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and product-level data.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across business units.
- Ability to balance technical accuracy with business practicality in a fast-paced environment.
