In this role, you will help shape the backend foundations behind business-critical platforms used across digital payments and financial services. This is an opportunity to contribute to high-impact products, work across the full development lifecycle, and partner closely with engineering, product, and quality teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot
- Design and integrate RESTful APIs for frontend and third-party systems
- Collaborate with frontend, product, and QA teams to deliver new features
- Optimize database queries and application performance for high-traffic systems
- Write clean, tested code and participate in code reviews and technical discussions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of backend development experience with Java and Spring Boot
- Strong experience building and working with REST APIs, SQL databases, and microservices architecture
- Hands-on experience with React, Flutter, and JavaScript
- Experience working with AWS or Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tooling
- Strong understanding of performance tuning and writing clean, testable code, with experience reviewing pull requests
- Experience collaborating with product managers, QA teams, and cross-functional engineering teams
- Eligibility to work in Thailand
- Experience in fintech, digital banking, payments, or merchant commerce is a plus
