Full Stack Engineer

This role is for one of our clients who is looking for an Full-Stack Developer [India, Remote].

Our client is a large MNC who is delivering real-time market intelligence and customer insights. You will be part of advanced analytics and data intelligence platform that harnesses a diverse portfolio of 50+ alternative datasets to deliver real-time market intelligence and customer insights

Role Overview

We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join the team within the Pyxis platform. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications that power advanced analytics and reporting capabilities used by global clients. We are looking for developers with 1–3 years of experience with strong proficiency in JavaScript, and has experience in either Angular or React. We also need experience building backend services using Node.js and NestJS.

Key Responsibilities

1. Full Stack Development - Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable frontend and backend solutions for the Pyxis platform application.
2. Frontend Engineering - Develop interactive user experiences using Angular or React
3. Backend Engineering - Design and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs using Node.js and NestJS.
4. Quality, Testing, and Reliability - Write maintainable unit tests and participate in integration testing activities.
5. Collaboration and Agile Delivery - Participate actively in sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog grooming, demos, and retrospectives.
6. Continuous Improvement - Identify opportunities to improve development practices, tooling, and engineering processes

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in full stack software development
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience developing frontend applications using Angular or React
• Experience building backend services using Node.js and NestJS.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and GraphQL.
• Experience working with relational databases and writing efficient SQL queries.
• Familiarity with authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth, JWT, and SSO.
• Experience using version control systems such as Git.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD practices and development workflows.
• Strong understanding of software design principles, SDLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within cross-functional teams.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
• Exposure to Nx monorepo environments.
• Experience working with reporting, analytics, or data-intensive applications.
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for frontend and backend systems.
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Exposure to monitoring and observability tools.
• Prior experience in enterprise SaaS or consulting environments.
