About the Role:
As a Full Stack Engineer, you will build and deliver end-to-end web applications across frontend and backend, using React and TypeScript on the client and Python on the server. You will collaborate closely with product, design, and DevOps to develop scalable, high-performance solutions, and contribute to system design and architecture decisions. You will own features from development through deployment, and use AI-powered tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor) to accelerate development, improve code quality, and speed up debugging.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications with React on the frontend and Python on the backend
- Build responsive, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces using React, hooks, and modern state management
- Design and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices in Python (FastAPI, Django, or Flask)
- Use AI-powered tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor) for coding, debugging, and optimization
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security across the stack
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code (unit and integration)
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across frontend, backend, and infrastructure
- Follow best practices in version control, CI/CD, and deployment
Qualifications:
Required
- 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Full Stack or Software Engineer
- Strong proficiency in Python, with a modern web framework (FastAPI, Django, or Flask)
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React (hooks, state management, component architecture, performance)
- Solid understanding of API design, backend development, and distributed systems
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Nice to have
- Comfortable adopting AI developer tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor) in day-to-day work
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Experience with testing frameworks (pytest, Jest, React Testing Library)
- Exposure to Golang, Angular, or Vue
