About the Project: We are developing a new mobile application from scratch that combines real-time external data acquisition with advanced AI analysis. This is a greenfield project requiring a versatile developer capable of architecting both the front-end user experience and the complex, reliable backend systems.
The successful candidate must be able to manage the full development cycle: from setting up secure cloud functions to publishing high-quality, high-performance applications on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mobile Development: Design, build, and maintain a seamless, responsive cross-platform mobile application for iOS and Android using a unified codebase.
- Backend Architecture: Architect and implement a scalable, secure cloud-based backend to handle all application logic, API routing, and external data processing.
- AI Integration: Implement robust, reliable integration with Large Language Model (LLM) APIs (e.g., Gemini, OpenAI) for structured data analysis and content generation, focusing on handling complex JSON outputs.
- Advanced Data Extraction (Crucial): Develop and maintain high-reliability, anti-bot-resistant data scraping systems to extract text and media metadata from complex, dynamic social media platforms.
- Testing & Deployment: Ensure code quality through unit and integration testing, and manage the full CI/CD pipeline, including submission and maintenance on both app stores.
Required Technical Stack & Experience:
- Mobile: Expert proficiency in Flutter or React Native for cross-platform mobile development.
- Backend: Strong hands-on experience with Node.js, Python, or cloud-native solutions like Firebase Functions or AWS Lambda.
- AI/ML: Proven experience integrating and prompting LLM APIs (Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic) to receive structured, predictable output.
- Scraping/Web Automation (Non-Negotiable):
- Direct experience with robust web scraping tools like Apify, Puppeteer, or Playwright.
- Deep understanding of anti-bot countermeasures, proxy management, and handling dynamic content for high-reliability data extraction from platforms like Instagram and TikTok.
- Database: Familiarity with NoSQL (e.g., Firestore, MongoDB) or relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL).
- DevOps: Proficiency with Git, continuous integration, and cloud service management.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- A self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills, particularly around overcoming technical challenges posed by third-party platforms.
- Proven ability to manage a project from concept to final release.
- Strong communication skills to articulate technical trade-offs and project status clearly.
- Must be willing to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before detailed project requirements are shared.
