The Functional Consultant is the EUC and Digital Workplace domain expert within the delivery pod.
You bring deep knowledge of enterprise endpoint management, digital employee experience (DEX),
and workplace tooling to translate customer requirements into AEX platform configurations and
deployment designs. You act as the functional bridge between the customer IT organisation and AEX
engineering — ensuring solutions are relevant, well-scoped, and correctly integrated within the
customer's digital workplace environment.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement
• Engage with customer IT and EUC teams to understand their digital workplace landscape, pain
points, and automation goals
• Conduct requirement workshops, solution demos, and walkthroughs tailored to EUC/DWP
personas
• Prepare functional specifications, use cases, and configuration documents aligned to customer
tooling environments
• Support the Head of Delivery (Abhishek) in defining scope and deployment architecture for new
projects
• Map customer workflows across endpoint management, ITSM, and HR systems to AEX
automation use cases
Solution Configuration & Delivery
• Configure AEX platform modules (Virtual Assistant, Agent Assist, Self Heal, CVA) to meet EUC
and DWP requirements
• Design and validate integrations with endpoint management tools — Intune, SCCM, Workspace
ONE, etc.
• Work with SysTrack, Nexthink, or equivalent DEX platforms to define experience baselines and
AEX trigger conditions
• Validate configured solutions against functional acceptance criteria before UAT
• Work with the Testing Delivery Buddy to define test scenarios covering EUC workflows
• Support customers during UAT, capturing feedback and driving resolution
• Prepare training materials and conduct end-user and IT admin training sessions
Required Skills & Experience
Domain — EUC / Digital Workplace
• 5–10 years of experience in functional consulting, solutions engineering, or implementation
within EUC, DWP, or IT service management domains
• Hands-on experience with Digital Employee Experience (DEX) tools — SysTrack, Nexthink, or
equivalent
• Strong knowledge of endpoint management platforms — Microsoft Intune, SCCM / MECM,
VMware Workspace ONE
• Experience with ITSM and service desk tooling — ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, or similar
• Familiarity with HR and identity platforms — Workday, Azure AD / Entra ID, Okta
• Understanding of Windows 10/11 lifecycle, image management, and enterprise device
provisioning
• Exposure to Microsoft 365 ecosystem — Teams, SharePoint, Power Automate in enterprise
DWP context
Consulting & Delivery
• Excellent requirement gathering, documentation, and workshop facilitation skills
• Experience conducting customer-facing UAT support and end-user training
• Ability to work across functional and technical teams in a delivery pod model
• Strong written and verbal communication skills — comfortable presenting to IT directors and
CIOs
• Familiarity with project delivery lifecycle — from scoping to go-live to support handover
Nice to Have
• Experience with conversational AI, virtual assistant, or IT helpdesk automation platforms
• Exposure to AEX, ServiceNow Virtual Agent, or similar enterprise AI assistants
• Understanding of deployment models — SaaS, on-premise, AKS/EKS/K8s
• Microsoft certifications — Modern Desktop Administrator, Intune, or M365 Enterprise
• Experience with Nexthink Act or SysTrack Automated Actions for proactive remediation
• Familiarity with zero-trust network access and endpoint security frameworks
