Job Description

About the role

We are hiring for a leading global financial institution for a highly motivated Analyst to join the firm's treasury and risk team, with a focus on private equity and real estate portfolios across Asia. In this role, you will be responsible for analysing the FX and interest rate risks on deal and portfolio levels, advising on derivative and FX hedging strategies. You will work directly with deal professionals, portfolio company management, and external financial counterparties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and oversee derivative trade execution across FX, interest rate, and other asset classes for the firm's various investment vehicles and operating companies
  • Collaborate with the PE and real estate deal teams to evaluate and recommend appropriate hedging approaches to reduce exposure to currency, rate, and other market fluctuations
  • Track and assess market risk positions across the corporate balance sheet and fund portfolios, with a focus on interest rate and foreign currency movements
  • Oversee a book of interest rate hedges tied to structured financing, equity holdings, and select insurance client mandates
  • Support real estate investment teams in developing FX and interest rate hedging solutions for both evergreen and closed-end funds, as well as underlying property assets
  • Maintain up-to-date records of derivative-related fee arrangements and trading activity across the organization
  • Nurture strong working relationships with external counterparties and internal collaborators across finance, operations, treasury, capital markets, and investment teams

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience gained in interest rate pr FX derivatives
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines
  • Results-driven, with a positive and collaborative attitude
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and thrives in a team setting
  • Ability to quickly identify core issues and see the broader strategic picture
  • Strong relationship-building skills with both internal and external partners
  • High level of integrity and professional ethics
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, Bloomberg, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Familiarity with Tableau, VBA, Python, or other programming languages is a plus
