Job Description

Trace is an Independent contemporary art and photography space dedicated to exhibitions, cultural programming, and creative exchange. We are looking for a highly organized, proactive, and people-oriented Gallerist & Art Space Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of the space and help grow our network of artists, collectors, partners, and sponsors.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working across operations, exhibitions, events, sales, and relationship building. You'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of exhibitions and public programs while helping develop opportunities for the space through partnerships, sponsorships, and community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations and administration of the space.

• Coordinate exhibitions from planning and installation through deinstallation

• Work closely with artists, curators, collectors, galleries, and partners

• Organize exhibition openings, artist talks, workshops, and special events

• Support artwork sales and collector relationships

• Conduct outreach to sponsors, brands, cultural organizations, and potential partners

• Coordinate vendors, logistics, production timelines, and budgets

• Maintain exhibition schedules and operational calendars

• Support marketing initiatives, social media coordination, and audience engagement

• Represent the gallery at events and actively build relationships within Bangkok's art and creative communities

Requirements

• Previous experience in galleries, art spaces, cultural organizations, events, hospitality, or related fields

• Strong organizational and project management skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently

• Comfortable engaging with artists, collectors, sponsors, and external stakeholders

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Fluent English required; Thai language skills are a strong advantage

• Passion for contemporary art, photography, and culture

Nice to Have

• Experience with artwork sales, business development, or sponsorships

• Existing network within Bangkok's creative, cultural, or business communities

• Experience producing exhibitions, events, or public programs
