Position: Gen AI Engineer (High Priority Requirement)

Experience: 6–8 Years

Location: OnsiteOnsite/Hybrid- Mumbai, Pune, Kochi, Chennai, Coimbatore, Hyderabad

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Gen AI Engineer with 6–8 years of experience in Python development, Azure cloud services, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Generative AI solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, developing, and deploying AI-powered applications using modern GenAI frameworks and Azure AI services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy Generative AI applications using Azure AI Services and OpenAI models.
  • Build and optimize RAG-based solutions leveraging vector databases and semantic search.
  • Develop scalable backend services and APIs using Python.
  • Integrate LLMs such as GPT, Llama, Claude, or similar models into enterprise applications.
  • Implement prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and model evaluation strategies.
  • Work with Azure AI Studio, Azure OpenAI, Azure Cognitive Search, and Azure Machine Learning.
  • Develop AI agents, chatbots, and intelligent automation solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into AI-driven solutions.
  • Monitor, optimize, and maintain AI applications in production environments.
  • Ensure security, governance, and compliance standards are followed in AI implementations.

Required Skills

  • 6–8 years of overall IT experience.
  • Strong programming experience in Python.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Services.
  • Experience with Azure OpenAI Service and Azure AI Studio.
  • Strong understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs).
  • Experience in building RAG pipelines.
  • Knowledge of Vector Databases (FAISS, Pinecone, ChromaDB, Weaviate, etc.).
  • Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, or similar frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Prompt Engineering techniques.
  • Experience in REST API development and microservices architecture.
  • Understanding of AI model evaluation and monitoring.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with AI Agents and Multi-Agent Frameworks.
  • Exposure to MLOps and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of data engineering concepts and ETL pipelines.
  • Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, and Agile methodologies.
