General Manager-Cross Border Trucking

About the role

Oversee the end-to-end cross-border freight business with full accountability for operational performance, sales results, and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee budgeting, cost control, and financial performance of CBT operations and sales

• Coordinate with Corporate Finance on reporting, audit, and controls

• Ensure accurate billing, revenue recognition, and cost allocation

• Coordinate with Corporate HR on talent recruitment, manpower planning, and compliance

• Review and approve new customers, contracts, and major quotations

• Establish and approve CBT routes, SOPs, and service models

• Oversee compliance with customs, permits, and transport regulations of both destination and origin of countries

• Monitor and review operational capacity and KPIs

• Build and maintain relationships with key cross border freight carriers, customs authorities, and logistics partners

• Ensure contingency planning for disruptions (e.g. border closures, peak demand)
