General Manager – EV Pickup Business (Thailand)
We are seeking a visionary and results-driven General Manager to lead the launch and growth of an EV pickup truck business in Thailand. This is a unique opportunity to build and scale a high-impact business in one of the fastest-growing segments in the automotive industry.
The successful candidate will take full ownership of the business, driving strategy, commercial performance, operations, and team leadership to establish a strong market presence and deliver sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Business Leadership & Strategy
- Define and execute the overall business strategy for the EV pickup segment
- Identify market opportunities across B2B, fleet, and commercial sectors
- Lead business planning, performance tracking, and strategic execution
Sales & Commercial Excellence
- Drive revenue growth through multi-channel sales (fleet, dealer, direct)
- Build and expand a strong dealer and distribution network nationwide
- Establish strategic partnerships with fleet operators and corporate clients
- Develop pricing strategies, sales targets, and commercial initiatives
Operations & Customer Experience
- Oversee supply chain, inventory, and delivery operations
- Develop and manage after-sales service and maintenance network
- Ensure a seamless end-to-end customer journey and ownership experience
Brand & Market Development
- Position the brand effectively within the EV and commercial vehicle market
- Lead go-to-market strategies, product launches, and marketing campaigns
- Build brand awareness and credibility in the industry
Financial Management
- Own full P&L responsibility and financial performance
- Manage cost structures and drive profitability
- Lead forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning
Team Leadership
- Build and lead a high-performing, cross-functional team
- Set clear KPIs and performance management frameworks
- Develop talent and leadership pipeline for long-term growth
Qualifications
- 10–15+ years of experience in Automotive, EV, or Commercial Vehicle industries
- Proven track record in a senior leadership role (GM / Director / Business Head)
- Strong experience in sales growth, dealer network development, or new business setup
- Deep understanding of EV market trends, fleet business, or commercial operations
- Strong financial acumen with P&L management experience
- Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in Thai and professional working proficiency in English
Preferred Background
- Experience in EV or new energy vehicle business
- Strong network within fleet, logistics, or corporate sectors
