Our client is one of the leading food companies in the region, with a strong reputation built over decades. They are currently seeking a General Manager to lead their business across both local and international markets. The General Manager will be a commercially driven leader responsible for driving business growth, profitability, and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and deliver end-to-end P&L performance, including revenue growth, gross margin, operating profit, and cash flow
- Define and execute the overall commercial and business strategy aligned with short- and long-term objectives
- Lead annual business planning, forecasting, and budgeting, ensuring disciplined cost control and strong ROI on trade and marketing investments
- Drive top-line growth through effective pricing architecture, promotion optimization, portfolio mix, and innovation execution
- Maximize channel profitability across modern trade, traditional trade, and food service
- Strengthen route-to-market and distributor effectiveness, including coverage, productivity, and in-store execution standards
- Partner closely with Marketing to translate brand strategy into commercially winning plans at the point of sale
- Ensure strong demand and supply alignment to optimize service levels, inventory management, and working capital
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing leadership team with a strong performance and accountability culture
- Act as the key interface with shareholders, board members, and regional/global stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related disciplines, MBA is preferred
- 12+ years of experience in the Food FMCG industry, with proven senior commercial leadership exposure
- Strong track record in P&L ownership, sales leadership, trade marketing, and commercial strategy
- Deep understanding of pricing, promotions, channel economics, and distributor management
- Strategic yet hands-on leader with strong execution capability and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in Thai both written and spoken
