General Manager Thailand

Job Summary

The General Manager (GM) for Thailand will be responsible for overseeing overall business operations, financial performance, strategic growth, and team management in the country. The role requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and operational expertise to drive business objectives, improve efficiency, and ensure market competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial & Operational Performance

  • Ensure financial targets are met, including efficiency ratio and EBITDA goals.
  • Manage cash flow and financial health of the business, ensuring proper inflow and expense management
  • Implement risk and compliance policies to minimize bad debts and financial risks

2. Business Growth & Strategy

  • Develop and execute business strategies to expand revenue streams (e.g., production, PR, creative services).
  • Drive new business development opportunities and partnerships to support company growth.
  • Oversee operational efficiency, cost optimization, and profitability improvement initiatives.

3. Internal Business Operations

  • Ensure standardized processes and workflows across all business units (Agency, Finance, HR).
  • Oversee SOP implementation and ensure compliance with corporate policies.
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives, ensuring 100% data accuracy in internal systems.

4. Team Leadership & People Development

  • Lead and manage the local team, ensuring high performance and employee engagement.
  • Conduct 360 feedback and leadership surveys to enhance team effectiveness.
  • Develop succession planning and talent development initiatives to build a strong leadership pipeline.

5. External Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure brand positioning and market competitiveness in Indonesia.
  • Work closely with the regional team to align business strategies and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in media, advertising, digital, consulting industries.
  • Strong financial and business acumen, with a track record of managing P&L.
  • Experience in team leadership, performance management, and organizational development.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute business growth strategies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management.
  • Highly proficient in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
