JOB SUMMARY
The General Manager - Manufacturing Operations is responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency, profitability, and sustainable growth. This role reports directly to the CEO and works closely with the Management Team to implement business strategies, optimize performance, and drive operational excellence across multiple sites.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute manufacturing and operational strategies aligned with the company's long-term vision.
- Collaborate with the CEO and management team to drive business growth and scalability.
- Establish and implement corporate policies to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
2. Operational Oversight & Performance Management
- Oversee all manufacturing functions, including production, supply chain, quality assurance, procurement, safety, and industrial engineering.
- Ensure all departments operate efficiently and meet performance targets.
- Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for operational success.
- Optimize internal processes to improve productivity and profitability.
3. Financial & Budgetary Control
- Manage financial planning, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the CFO to analyze financial reports and drive profitability.
- Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks.
4. Team Leadership & Organizational Development
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to department heads and staff.
- Foster a positive company culture that promotes teamwork and innovation.
- Build and lead high-performing teams to achieve company goals.
- Oversee talent acquisition, retention, and leadership development programs.
- Encourage collaboration between departments for smooth operations.
5. Risk Management & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and legal requirements.
- Develop risk management strategies to safeguard assets and reputation.
- Address operational challenges and implement proactive solutions.
6. Stakeholder & External Relations
- Represent the company in key negotiations, partnerships, and external engagements.
- Maintain strong relationships with investors, suppliers, clients, and regulatory bodies.
- Provide regular operational updates to the board of directors and stakeholders.
REPORTING STRUCTURE
Reports directly to the CEO. Oversees all manufacturing and operational departments.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 15+ years of experience in manufacturing operations or executive leadership roles; industry-specific experience is a plus.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to drive operational efficiency and business growth.
- Fluent in Thai & English languages with Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience in financial planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Proficiency in business analytics and technology solutions.
- Ability to manage change and lead transformation initiatives.
