We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Engineering and Maintenance to lead and optimize engineering and maintenance operations across our four textile manufacturing factories.
The successful candidate will ensure the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and sustainability and strategically manage and enhance the overall engineering performance.
Job Description:
- Provide input into the Plant Business Plan, head count, unit cost, Return on Assets.
- Prepare and coordinate the annual PM and Calibration annual master planned maintenance to ensure machine availability as per the Weekly Production Schedule
- Provide guidance on setting key performance indicators for engineering, maintenance, and production to reduce machine downtime and inefficiencies. Continuously enhance machine uptime efficiency and line crew productivity in the production area by assigning and following up on solutions to non-conformances
- Accountable for engineering, maintenance, and utility&facility budget management and allocation, manufacturing unit cost within plan.
- Develop and implement cost-effective solutions and innovative technologies to enhance factory operations.
- Lead the engineering and maintenance teams across multiple factories, providing strategic direction and oversight.
- Foster a collaborative and skilled engineering team dedicated to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Oversee the preventive maintenance and management of all factory facilities, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
- Manage and reduce energy consumption, particularly electricity, through strategic initiatives and technological advancements.
- Coordinate and direct the General Managers (GMs) of each factory, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives and efficient resource utilization.
- Implement and monitor maintenance programs to ensure all equipment and facilities are in optimal condition.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 15 years of experience in project engineering, maintenance, and utility & facility management within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership abilities, with a capacity for driving change and a forward-thinking approach.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills in both Thai and English.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in the manufacturing industry, specifically in facilities and equipment management.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and influence at all levels of the organization
