General Manager - Total logistics solutions

Our client, an established mid-sized freight forwarding company, is seeking a commercially driven and forward-thinking General Manager to lead its Thailand business.

This is a leadership opportunity for an experienced professional to drive business growth, strengthen operational performance, and lead strategic initiatives across the country operation.

The ideal candidate should possess strong exposure to international and domestic small parcel/courier businesses, with a proven track record in sales leadership, business development, key account management, and building sustainable revenue growth within the express and logistics industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead overall country operations and business performance, including P&L ownership and execution of growth strategies

• Drive commercial activities to expand market share, develop key accounts, and identify new business opportunities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and key stakeholders

• Lead and develop cross-functional teams across sales, operations, customer service, and support functions

• Ensure operational efficiency and service excellence across freight forwarding and logistics activities

• Develop and execute business plans aligned with company objectives and market opportunities

• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and enhance processes to improve productivity and profitability

• Ensure compliance with local regulations, company policies, and operational standards

• Foster a high-performance and collaborative culture within the organization

Requirements

• Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related discipline

• Minimum 10–15 years of experience within small parcel/courier, freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain industries

• Prior experience in a senior leadership role with country/business unit management exposure

• Strong commercial mindset with proven experience driving revenue growth and business expansion

• Hands-on leadership style with strong people management and stakeholder management skills

• Experience managing P&L and leading cross-functional teams

• Strong understanding of Thailand logistics market and industry landscape
