Job Description

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Support daily accounting operations and closing activities.
  2. Prepare and review bank reconciliations, ensuring proper documentation for internal and external audit purposes
  3. Complete balance sheet reconciliations accurately and on time.
  4. Monitor accounts receivable aging and calculate provisions for doubtful accounts.
  5. Calculate depreciation for all fixed assets.
  6. Maintain accurate accounting records in compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards.
  7. Process supplier payments and issue withholding tax certificates.
  8. Review VAT and other tax filings to ensure timely submission to the Revenue Department.
  9. Record accrued and prepaid expenses along with other necessary adjustments.
  10. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisors when required.
  11. Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate timely and accurate audits.
  12. Prepare monthly accounting reports for management and regional offices

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  2. Relevant experience in Accounting and Finance functions.
  3. Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
  4. Proficiency in MS Office, accounting software, and databases.
  5. Adaptable, flexible, and eager to learn, with the ability to quickly acquire new skills.
