Our client is seeking a commercially driven Business Development professional to lead global new business growth for an international textile company across B2B and private-label channels. This role focuses on building strategic pipelines, winning high-value clients, and driving expansion into new markets.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and own new business pipeline across target markets, channels, and product categories
- Identify and prioritize high-value prospects including retailers, distributors, e-commerce platforms, and private-label partners
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities and new market entry potential
- Develop go-to-market strategies including pricing, positioning, and value propositions for B2B clients
- Lead end-to-end sales process from prospecting to deal closure (RFQ, proposals, negotiations, and contract finalization)
- Develop compelling pitch materials and represent the business in client meetings, trade shows, and industry events
- Manage commercial negotiations including pricing, MOQs, and supply agreements
- Coordinate cross-functionally with internal teams (product, operations, regulatory, finance) to ensure successful deal execution
- Oversee onboarding of new clients, ensuring smooth transition to account management and successful first production delivery
- Monitor pipeline performance, conversion rates, and revenue targets using CRM tools
- Build strong industry networks and partnerships to support long-term business growth
- Ensure alignment between commercial pipelines and production capacity across global manufacturing sites
Key Requirements:
- 8+ years of commercial experience in business development, sales, or commercial leadership within FMCG, manufacturing, retail, or private-label environments
- Proven track record of winning new business and delivering against revenue targets in a B2B context
- Experience in managing the US, Europe, SEA Market and etc.
- Strong experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from prospecting through to contract execution
- Solid understanding of international markets, export trade, pricing structures, and supply chain dynamics
- Demonstrated ability to build and convert pipelines using structured sales processes and CRM tools
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Thai, or European languages) are a plus
- Willingness to travel internationally (30-40%) for client meetings, trade shows, and factory visits
