Global Offshore Settlement Officer

Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day trade settlements in global offshore markets, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Process funds transfers abroad, including deposits and withdrawals in foreign currencies as per customer instructions.
• Handle securities transfers and coordinate with international brokers to ensure successful completion.
• Liaise with customers, agents, international brokers, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Reconcile daily cash balances, investigate discrepancies, and follow up promptly.
• Ensure regulatory and customer reporting is completed within established timelines.
• Provide operational support to trading desks, Front Office, and both internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in new projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related fields.
• Strong proficiency in English (spoken and written).
• Excellent computer skills, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong interpersonal skills, service-oriented mindset, and ability to coordinate effectively.
• Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in securities operations or related fields is an advantage.
